We are working with many U.S. designers and architects as our AIP house plans list grows, and it is important to note that plan packages may contain different construction styles and details.
The following is a list of sheets typically* included in our plans, which meet Architectural Permit Submittals:
- Floor Plans (includes window and door sizes, etc)
- Roof Plan
- Exterior Elevations (4 sides)
- Building Cross Section/s
- Standard framing construction details
- Optional / Add-on sheets most requested:
- Site Plan (typically required for jurisdiction / permitting)
- Foundation Plan (Design intent, for local Structural Engineering review / edit / stamping)
- Floor Framing Plans (Design intent, for local Structural Engineering review / edit / stamping)
- Roof Framing Plans (or Truss Manufacturer design intent) – by Others, upon request
- Electrical Layout (when available per plan / by designer, or can be added for electrician & GC)
- Interior Elevations (at kitchens, living room fireplace wall, primary bathroom sink wall)
Other notes and details, such as structural specifications, excavating and grading, masonry and concrete work, carpentry and wood specifications, thermal and moisture protection, and specifications about drywall, tile, flooring, glazing, caulking and sealants.
We strongly encourage you to contact us for the list of details that are included in any individual plan package drawing set, should you need to know that in advance of purchase.
